This applies to the Orland Park Spree thrift store. I received a sticky coupon on the front of the Chicago Tribune today for $15 off a purchase of $30 or more. I went to the store and shopped for an hour. Loved the merchandise and cashier! After the items were rung up, the manager refused to honor the coupon. He tried to justify his actions by explaining that sale items are excluded yet it does state that on the coupon nor does it state to mention coupon before purchase. Just about everything in the store was "on sale" today-- I would estimate 80% of the items had colored tickets. Very misleading! Perfect example of false advertising to get you in the door.
