BIG SKY DOG TRAINING teaches dogs that obedience and other desirable behaviors earn your dog rewards. Rewards include things he or she likes such as treats, toys, petting, verbal praise and play. This method creates a dog whose primary motivation to learn is based on earning reward(s), as opposed to avoiding punishment. Dogs trained this way end up as obedient pets without a breakdown in their confidence. Desired behavior is determined after the dog has shown an understanding of the desired behavior and should motivate the dog to obey without causing confusion or stress.
